TacitHarmony
Now inviting early readers

The unspoken understanding
between languages.

TacitHarmony finds the silence between languages — the meaning that travels in the pause, the gesture, the small repair of a word that didn't quite fit.

What we're building

Tools for the people who already work between languages — translators, interpreters, writers drafting in a second tongue, teams shipping product across markets.

Adjacent translation

Not word-for-word. We translate the feel of what someone means, then show you what was lost in the gaps.

Rest-aware interfaces

Tools that pace themselves to conversation. Holding space when you need a moment, stepping back when you want to think.

Source transparency

Every output shows its provenance. No silent editorializing. If we paraphrase, you know.

Built with musicians

The "tacet" in our name is musical notation. We design like chamber players, not machine-learning engineers.

Why tacet?

In musical notation, tacet is the instruction that a player is silent. The instrument stays on stage. The rest is part of the music. When someone speaks two languages, the harmony is rarely in the words — it's in the rests between them. TacitHarmony listens to those rests.

We're inviting a small group of translators, interpreters, and language-loving developers to try the first build. Tell us what you do and what languages you work with — we'll prioritize accordingly.
